About Megan

Hi! I’m Megan (they/she). I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and AASECT-certified sex therapist in Missouri and Colorado.

I’m glad you’re here.

I believe that your relationships—romantic, platonic, and especially the one you have with yourself—deserve curiosity, care, and room to grow. Together we’ll explore your inner world with compassion, a bit of irreverence, and a deep respect for your lived experience.

I draw from attachment theory, neurobiology, differentiation, somatic approaches, modern psychodynamic theory, and intersectional queer theory. That means I care about your lived experience and the larger systems shaping it. We will pay attention to your emotions, your body, your relationships, your history, and your context—and make sense of it together in a way that actually feels useful.

My style is warm, collaborative, and engaged. I believe therapy should feel human. That means there’s room for humor, for moments of lightness, and for the occasional “wow, that’s painfully relatable” laugh. I’m not a blank slate silently nodding at you (unless that’s truly what you need that day). I’ll engage with you, reflect with you, and sometimes ask the kind of questions that linger a little after session ends.

My office is located in Saint Louis City. I also offer online sessions throughout Missouri and Colorado.

I didn’t become a therapist because I had everything figured out. I came to this work from an insatiable curiosity toward understanding people—especially how systems of oppression quietly (and not so quietly) shape how we see ourselves and relate to others. I’ve seen, both personally and professionally, what it’s like to carry messages about being “too much,” “not enough,” or just not quite fitting. Becoming a therapist feels like a way to push back on all that, as I help my clients connect the dots between the personal and the political.

As a sex therapist and couples therapist, I’m especially drawn to the messy, meaningful work of relationships—because let’s be honest, they’re where a lot of our stuff shows up. I love helping people untangle patterns, talk about things they’ve never had language for, and experiment with new ways of relating that feel more honest and aligned. Growth can be hard, vulnerable, and sometimes a little awkward—but it can also be relieving and empowering.

Outside of work, I find peace and respite from the busy world by moving my body, and connecting with nature and loved ones, whether that be deepening my meditation practice, hiking through rugged forest trails with my wife and our big goofy dog Milton, or savoring a beautiful home-cooked meal with chosen family.
