Therapy for relationships, gender, and sexuality

Welcome!

A person with short, styled hair, wearing a black shirt under a plaid flannel shirt, standing outdoors with green foliage in the background.

I’m Megan MacKenzie. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and AASECT-certified Sex Therapist, and I specialize in working with queer folks, couples, and people in nontraditional relationships—including poly and nonmonogamous partnerships. I also support clients exploring sexuality, gender identity, and all the messy, meaningful, sometimes confusing parts of being human.

I see clients in Saint Louis, and virtually throughout Missouri and Colorado.

“Queer not as being about who you’re having sex with (that can be a dimension of it); but queer as being about the self that is at odds with everything around it and has to invent and create and find a place to speak and to thrive and to live.”
